Small Town Girl
Submitted by jmcree on November 21, 2008 - 10:25.My story starts when my once upon a time came true; when I met my four best friends and when I learned the meaning of the word: study. You know how at the beginning of movies music is playing in the background? Well if I was in a movie my song would be the song that goes:
“Just a small town girl living in a lonely world she took the midnight train that goes on and on and on and on…” Because where I come from is the smallest town in one of the smallest states: Huntington, Vermont. Yesterday I got off the bus like I normally do when all of a sudden a reporter from the Channel 3 News slammed a microphone into my face and asked me three questions:
“What does it mean to be a Vermonter?”
“What would you change about Vermont?”
“What’s the most important thing about your life in Vermont?”
