Night Mare
Submitted by mrsparker on August 30, 2008 - 14:44.Night Mare
At night after the sun flies away
The stars shine bright
Children's heads rest upon pillows so soft so light
Dreams flicker and twinkle
And they set upon a new journey
The Night Mare wakes up from her slumber
Her coat shines a glossy black
The mane shows a silver hue
And eyes bright blue
She lets out a whinny confident and hardy
Telling bad dreams beware
She leaps into the sky
As the last rays of sun die
Merrily around does she gallop
Fighting away bad dream after bad dream
The hero of darkness and rest
So go to sleep
You who are afraid
The Night Mare will save you forever
Ode to My PS3
Submitted by mrsparker on December 26, 2007 - 10:19.This is an ode to my Playstations3
Which I like way better than my Nintendo Wii.
It entertains me all day long--
This entertainment can't be wrong,
Sometimes I dream about it at night.
I play it then when I wake up I'm full of delights,
It never breaks down on me when I play it a lot
That is why it got bought.
I definitely think it is best there can be,
An Ode to Rhymes
Submitted by mrsparker on December 26, 2007 - 10:13.Rhymes are so cool,
you can rhyme anything.
The only thing you can't rhyme
is the word orange.
Maybe you can rhyme it.
Why would you I want to find out.
You can try for me--
Do it, I dare you.
Rhyme anything you want,
although I won't.
Read this ode again--
it's kind of ironic.
Ode to My Puppy

By Helena Rainville

I got my puppy on Friday--
a little fur-ball on a leash.
He loves to run and whine and play.
Got that? Capeesh?
He is the color of cream,
and his nose is black as night.
He loves to sleep and dream,
he sometimes explores and bites.
His name is Willoughby
And his fur is curly and cute.
He loves me and I love him;
