a smoldering match,
blackening my
fingers
with its fiery
glow, and
burning the
taunting scent of
curiosity
into my mind.

I'm studying it, and
noticing
how similar it looks
to 911,
and thinking just how
appropriate
that is.

Maybe,
we could learn
to help
(save)
each other.

It's just a number, some people could care less.
On the other hand, imagine the numbers...in reality
