A Mysterious Past

The creaking floor boards echo throughout the empty hall, leaving a mysterious silence. The cobwebs in the corners reflect the old age of the house and its long past. I move quickly to catch up with the tour group before getting caught in a empty and spooky room. As I run, I pass the boarded windows facing Delaney Street, giving the house an unwelcoming appearance to visitors. The aged interior decorations further the belief of this house being haunted.

Annie and Nick ran to toward her but she disappeared. They started to walk away. Then they heard crying. The children whipped around. There she was walking toward them.
“Who are you?” Annie called.
