Forever Certain

I am certain that I am forever changing,

like the moon, who has different phases. 

I am certain that like the moon, I am drawn to the sea.

The peaceful sound of the waves creating music on the shore.

I am certain that like the sea, I listen to the wind,

as it sings a song I'm certain I've heard before.

I am certain that like the wind, I watch the thunderstorms,

as lighting strikes the ground, and thunder rolls in. 

I am certain that like the thunderstorms, I love the rain,

as it pours its heart out to the quiet land. 

I am certain that like the rain, I enjoy the land,

as its beauty looks up towards the sky, looking at the forever changing moon.
