I jumped and cried and jumped some more,
My tears now sat there on the floor.
We hugged, for once, we hugged so long –
The seven of us. Last day gone.

I sniffled and laughed and sniffled some more,
  • Sincerity

Today this kid wrote a sincere thank you letter to me.
He wanted to thank me for being his friend.
    For talking to him,
During our 7th period jazz band class.

He said he's never been so scared in his life
  • Panda

panda doesn't understand the racial parts of humans
the region and ethnicity, ceo or shoeman.
He sits and eats bamboo all day
sometimes decided to romp or play
And never cares for his appearance,
  • What a strange ... dream?

    I had a dream I overslept
and forgot to brush my teeth!
    I ate a stale frittata,
and a couple bites of beef.
Wore a pink and yellow sock,
forgot my keys my doors unlocked,
and threw a load of laundry in
  • Pretentious Noun

    Whats in a name?
    Seriously. I'd like to know.
Because whatever potion is in it,
Whatever voodoo can be woven into the syllables
Is seriously giving me a headache.
    Since when did a word
    A single word
    Mean so much to me.

  • As the Crow Lands

As the Crow Lands on the Grave-

    Black secrets stir in every face;

A fountain in the moonbeam riven—

Spend her gone like an adversity.

    The Graves began to Multiply

  • Writers Block

    Normally words flow right out

    Normally thoughts come running

    Writing it down

    Before they can run away

    Sitting now

    Looking around

    Nothing running

  • Persephone

Persephone was tired. Tired of being nothing more than the daughter of a nearly forgotten goddess, of being a sweet innocent nymph, a girl content to frolic in fields under the sun.

  • First Snow

The first snow I saw this year was in a cemetery.

    An old, abandoned cemetery.

The small, barely perceptible flakes fell,

Bitter as any of the old graves,

  • Firefly Catcher

    I’ve never caught a firefly

    I guess I’ve never tried,

I wouldn’t want to trap their life

To keep them bottled up inside

But maybe I should get a jar
