From Coast to Coast

Ding dong,

The clock plays its sweet song,

The day has come so near,

The arrival of the people I love dear,

I look out the window to the dark night sky,

And think about their plane up high,

I smile and just can’t believe

The day has come and I am so relieved

Cousins, aunts, and uncles too,

Flying here across the ocean blue,

I open the door and run down the hall,

And nearly run into the wall,

As garage door slams into it’s frame,

“We’re here!” My uncle claims.

I run down the hall to give my family a big hug,

As I smile really smug,

It’s only been 9 years,

But finally, my extended family is here.

  • Two Worlds

    There once was a town,

    Or well, a place

Where children danced and played games like people in another place.

They ran jumped and hide and laughed

Well for some who were there.

  • Pity

    A glossy face

    To cover disgrace

    Sometimes even with events

    Sometimes leaves a bigger dent

    I don’t need it

    And neither should you

    Because even with it

    You’ll see right through

  • Death

    Death is a purple cake,

It’s icing as smooth as a freshly painted wall,

    Lucious as dreams

It’s taste as skyscrapers are tall

    Death is a dog,

    Fur like a cloud,
