A hundred words is a lot
A hundred degrees is very hot
When you rob hundred dollars from a bank, you get caught
When you go a hundred miles into space you have become an astronaut
When you make a hundred plans it becomes easier to plot
When you make a hundred bowls of pasta you’ll need a new pot
When you go to a lot of casinos it’s easier to predict the slot
When you earn a hundred thousand dollars you can buy a yacht
A hundred words this poem’s got
I guess a hundred words isn’t a lot
Write a poem with two stanzas, about your favorite childhood character. The first stanza should be about what you thought of the as a child, and the second what you think of them now.
There once was a town,
Or well, a place
Where children danced and played games like people in another place.
They ran jumped and hide and laughed
Well for some who were there.
A glossy face
To cover disgrace
Sometimes even with events
Sometimes leaves a bigger dent
I don’t need it
And neither should you
Because even with it
You’ll see right through
