Maya Angelou

April is Poetry Month, Words that weave and enchant, Maya Angelou is a favorite poet, Her wisdom like a soothing balm.

Poetry is solace, a meaningful friend, Reflecting emotions that never end, My own verses are a mirror of me, A way to share and to be free.

Through others' words, I find light, Connecting hearts, minds, shining bright, Poetry is a gift that unwinds, Guiding us through life's binds.

So cheers to Poetry Month, let's embrace, The beauty of words, the power of grace, In stanzas and rhymes, may we find delight, And let poetry lead us through the night.

  • Fiddle and Emily

I had always played second fiddle to Emily, the outgoing social butterfly. But one night, I found my own confidence. A shy guy started talking to me, and I surprised myself by being funny and outgoing. Emily looked at me in awe.

  • Peace

Peace looks like a quiet meadow on a sunny day, where the grass sways gently in the breeze and flowers bloom in vibrant colors. Birds sing joyfully in the sky, and the only sound is the soft rustling of leaves in the trees.
