Civilians of the Cosmos
We are all just civillians of the cosmos,
we are all just side characters in a novel.
Our lives are meaningless, we float around
in the sea, like green-gold plankton.
How do we make our live meaningful? -
Darkness is nothing compared to the light
Coming back on the first day,
awake, yet unawake to the world,
alive, yet not feeling alive just yet.
Not moving tons, just a wiggle.
Closing her eyes for the first time.
As they close, she sees, for the first time, -
A world of my own
I often get lost out there, way out there.
It has become a second home of sorts.
Maybe it is a first home, home to life.
I often get lost there, I imagine you do too.

or dumped into the deep, dark, blue sea.
We are all equal on judgment day.
From the moment we stand in front of His chair
to the moment our heart is weighed to a feath’r, -
Beauty in the little things
There are billions of those little creatures,
they scatter themselves through the land.
They give, they take,
they destroy, they make.
You see, the beauty is in the little things,
the kind, young one going to help their friend, -
Final Moments
Final Moments
"Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know
to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose."
-Steve Jobs
