An Eclipse

She,

She had dark black hair that crossed her face.

He,

He had honey-blonde hair that creased his ears.

She,

She didn’t have the grades she should.

He,

He had too many books to fit his room.

She,

She loved doing what she shouldn’t.

He,

He did what he should.

She,

She was never where she was supposed to be.

He,

He was always on time.

She,

She kept to herself.

He,

He was everyone’s friend.

She,

She was the moon.

He,

He was the sun.

They,

They were an eclipse.

At noon i knew it was not right

Once filled with hope and love and light

The blackened pavement of my street

Now has nothing to see in sight

    Without toys it wasn’t complete

  • A Hundred Word Poem

A hundred words is a lot

A hundred degrees is very hot

When you rob hundred dollars from a bank, you get caught

When you go a hundred miles into space you have become an astronaut

  • Empty

The blank walls shine like the ones at a pearly bank

The floors on wood where so much has withstood

I down the halls I take a chance and glance

Even though we couldn’t stand it any longer, it has made me stronger
